​Hello, my name is Šárka and I work as a performing violinist and private violin tutor in Burslem, Stoke on Trent. I am collaborating with brilliant musicians here in Staffordshire.



In autumn 2011 I met a very talented pianist Rosie Attwood-Harris​ from Biddulph Moor and we founded a ​piano & violin duo for performing classical music in and around Staffordshire.

 

I have been playing the violin since the age of six and totally fell in love with the sound of violin and classical music. I studied the violin to diploma level at the Conservatory Pardubice in the Czech Republic, from which I graduated in June 2010. At the same time I began my music teacher training at the University Hradec Králové where I specialized in music  and became a qualified music  teacher (equivalent to British PGCE qualification).



I have performed with professional Philharmonic Orchestra Hradec Králové and Jaroslav Kocian's Chamber Orchestra​​. I have played in string quartets and piano trio, I became a solo violinist for B​onifantes Men & Boys Choir, one of the best in the Czech Republic.
